Shawn Michaels vs. Crush from WWF King of the Ring 1993

Shawn’s IC title was on the line. Diesel accompanied him to the ring.

Crush ran through Shawn for a while. Shawn needed help from Diesel to cut him off. Shawn then worked him over. Crush made a comeback. Eventually, two Doinks came out. Fun fact: I have never seen a Doink match. The distraction allowed Shawn to hit Crush with a superkick to the back of the head: 1…2…3

Crush immediately ran to the back and chased after the Doinks.

Everything about this reeked of stale bread. Nothing about this seemed cutting edge or innovative. It felt like watching an eighties hair band hanging on too long in the 90s. On top of that, it’s one of those trademark WWE/F matches where no one looks good after it ends. You know, the opposite of what should be the goal of a match like this. Avoid.
