Recap from TJ Hawke:

Ricochet was a part of the big Blood Warriors rudo stable.  Brodie Lee, Austin Aries, and CIMA came out with Ricochet.

Yoshino was owning Ricochet early with his speed and wacky holds. Ricochet managed to send Yoshino to the outside, and then distracted the ref so that Blood Warriors could damage Yoshino. Ricochet worked over Yoshino for a little and then sent Yoshino to the outside again so Blood Warriors could do more damage. Yoshino came back finally, and the two speedsters started going back and forth with some awesome stuff.  Ricochet hit a Trouble in Paradise and a Thug Bait: 1…2…NO!  Yoshino blocked a standing moonsault.  Yoshino locked in his abdominal stretch, but Ricochet just managed to make the ropes.  Ricochet avoided Torbellino and hit a Zig Zag and a standing shooting star press: 1…2…NO!  Yoshino blocked a springboard cross-body with a dropkick.  Ouch.  Yoshino then hit his missile dropkick.  Ricochet came back and hit a middle rope shooting star press: 1…2…NO! That got some “You Can’t Beat Him!” chants.  Ricochet went to the top rope, but Yoshino stopped him and hit a super sling blade.  Yoshino avoided a backslide driver and hit a Lightening Spiral: 1…2…NO!  Ricochet hit an enzuigiri, but Yoshino came back with a torbellino!  Sol Naciente!!! Ricochet taps out!

This was a really great opener.  Both guys looked great, and the crowd was into everything.    Yoshino’s singles matches haven’t always been my cup of tea, but this may have been one of his most fun efforts in DGUSA.  You definitely want to watch this match.
