Akira Tozawa & Christian Rose vs. The Kentucky Buffet (Matt Cage & Alex Castle) from IWA: Unlimited 2011

This is a match from the weekly free Wednesday show from IWA Unlimited.  Learn more about them at their FacebookTwitter, and Website.

Recap by TJ Hawke:

Rose and Castle started off the match.  Neither man got a real advantage.  Tozawa and Cage tagged in.  Cage took him down with a couple of dropkicks, which allowed the Buffet to get the advantage.  The Buffet worked Tozawa over for a while.  Tozawa eventually came back with a big rolling elbow on Castle.  Rose and Cage tagged in.  Rose got a nearfall after a sliding kick.  Tozawa tagged back in, and he had the advantage on Cage.  Neither team has been the definitive heel, so the crowd started to rally behind Cage as he got worked over.  Cage came back with a springboard cross-body on Rose, but Rose cut him right off and tagged in Tozawa.  Cage managed to hit a springboard lariat on Rose, and he then tagged out to Castle.  Castle and Tozawa traded some moves.  Rose and Cage ended up in the ring again.  Cage went for a frog splash, but Rose avoided it.  Tozawa hit Cage with a bridging German after ROse booted Cage, but Castle broke up the nearfall.  Castle hit Tozawa with a running boot in the corner.  Cage followed that up with shotgun knees and a Gibson Driver: 1…2…3!

I honestly don’t have much to say about this match.  It was a lot of fun and the action was good.  The match didn’t grab me like great matches do, but I enjoyed the whole thing.  I guess this was a lukewarm analysis, but I definitely recommend that you watch this match.
