This was an elimination match for RVD and Mysterio’s tag team titles.

RVD had an injured knee at the time and had to wear a large knee brace.

Not much of note happened early. Eventually, Eddie forced the Bashams to go at it with Jindrak and Reigfns. Rey illegally entered the match to give Jindrak a 619. Eddie put Doug on Jindrak: 1…2…3

Eddie and Rey reluctantly squared off. Booker tagged in and worked over Rey. Rey came back on Eddie and caught him with a hurricanrana: 1…2…3. That apparently was the third week in a row that Rey had defeated Eddie. Eddie and Booker were not happy with each other after.

The Bashams then worked over Rey. Dou bashed steel steps into RVD’s injured leg. Rey kept trying to check on RVD. Rey was all alone, as RVD got stretchered out. Rey managed to make his own comeback. He hit a 619. Ref bump. Twin magic. Powerbomb: 1…2…3

I did not enjoy this much at all. It was a very convoluted way of making a tag title switch that they had to make. In some ways, I appreciate the attempt to do something more than just having RVD and Rey vacate the titles. The execution of this was rather eh though.
