Recap from TJ Hawke:

Tozawa opted to flip off Ligero instead of shaking his hand.  Ligero returned the favor.  Ligero took him down with a headscissors and a leg lariat early on.  Ligero then hit a standing moonsault for a nearfall.  Tozawa came back with a sliding kick that caused Ligero to go to the floor.  Tozawa then hit a pair of tope suicidas.  Tozawa brought Ligero back to the ring and worked him over.  Tozawa brought him to the floor and beat him up some more.  Tozawa then just brought him back to the ring and locked in a weird submission.  Ligero survived and came back with a handspring enzuigiri.  Ligero followed it up with a Sick Kick for a nearfall.  Ligero then caught Tozawa with a Tombstone Gutbuster: 1…2…NO!  Tozawa came back with a shining wizard to the back of the head for a nearfall.  Yakuza hit a Brogue Kick and a saito suplex for another nearfall.  Ligero was on the top rope, and Tozawa hit another Brogue Kick.  Tozawa followed that up with a delayed superplex: 1…2…NO!  Ligero hit a superkick and sent Tozawa to the floor.  Ligero then connected on a tope con hello.  Back in the ring, Ligero hit a ghetto stomp, a belly-to-back piledriver, and a Superfly Splash: 1…2…NO!   They ended up on the apron, and Tozawa hit a German suplex onto the apron. Ouch.  They traded a bunch of strikes until Tozawa killed him with a German.  Tozawa then hit a delayed deadlift bridging German suplex: 1…2…NO!  Ligero got a nearfall with a pinning combination out of nowhere. Ligero then MURDERED Tozawa with a reverse hurricanrana.  Ligero then hit a springboard tornado DDT: 1…2…3!

After the match, Tozawa flipped him off again, but he made clear that he wanted a rematch.

This was a fucking great match.  Akira Tozawa, my love for you knows no bounds.  I will follow you to the end.  Ligero is a hell of a talent, and he is a name I hear a lot when I read about the British indie scene.  Hopefully, he’s able to arrange a tour of America soon.  I highly recommend that you watch this match.

Match Rating: ****
