Veda Scott vs. Heidi Lovelace from Ring of Honor 2015

Post by Fray:

So, it’s a Thursday night as I write this, and I’m not having a good night watching the wrestling matches. Everything is bad. So bad, in fact, that I’ve given up and have turned to the Science Channel to learn how iron forms shit in outer space.

Yeah.

And I imagine iron in outer space has better chemistry with space rocks than whatever the hell this match for Ring of Honor was supposed to be.

Listen, I have no idea what Sinclair is trying to do with this women’s division. It’s possible they’re trying to take advantage of the new found popularity women’s wrestling is having due to Sasha Banks and Bayley on NXT.
{All praises be to HHH}.

Or maybe not.

Regardless, I decided to watch this Veda Scott/Heidi Lovelace match from the Sinclair “Road to Final Battle” show which took place on November 20th in Nashville, TN. I like what little I’ve seen of Heidi Lovelace. I’m a fan of Veda Scott’s work as a manager. So, how bad could it be?

Well, it’s obvious the Nashville brothers and sisters did not come to the Fairgrounds on this evening to watch women’s wrestling. And I don’t mean that in a sexist way at all, but this crowd really did not care. It was so quiet you could’ve heard Lizard Man rebooking shit out loud in the back because he booked himself into another corner. That’s how quiet it was.

It was a match. They tried some things. Some of it worked. Some of it didn’t. Some of it was downright cringe-y and bad and kicks were being missed by a mile. Honesty, I preferred the recent Bayley/Eva Marie match (and who wouldn’t) and that match was literally 1985 Ric Flair carrying three brooms and a mop to a near **** match while the mop was weighed down with so much water it could barely be picked up.

Veda wins with a belly to back suplex, which I’m certain may have been stolen from watching Chad Gable & Jason Jordan do their finish on NXT TV.

This match, brothers, was not ready, willing, or able.

Do not watch this.
