Flying Solow (Jason Cade & Aaron Solow) vs. Nuclear Kaasarole (Chase Brown & Peter Kaasa) from FIP Heatstroke 2015

Post by Kevin Ford

Kaasa controls Cade in the early going. Two leapfrogs and drop downs allow Cade to land a dropkick. Cade responds with belly-to-back and belly-to-belly suplexes. Solow and Brown tag in. Solow blocks Chase’s back roll and grabs an ankle lock. Brown rolls forward to reverse, but Solow is able to escape. Some posturing leads to a modified fisherman’s suplex from Brown. Brown hopes to the apron when Solow shoots him to the corner. Solow punches Brown. Brown avoids a vertical suplex. A back suplex attempt from Brown causes them both to tumble to the floor. Cade knocks Kaasa off the apron. He looks for a dive but Kaasa cuts him off and tosses him to the floor. Kaasa comes off the top with a corkscrew plancha onto everyone! Brown brings in Solow for a two count. Brown pulls his straps down. He and Solow switch tombstone positions. Brown divorce courts Solow into a kimura. Cade before hand blind tagged in, so he breaks it with a slingshot stomp. He kicks Brown in the back of the head for two. Cade finds himself trapped in the Flying Solow corner. Brown ducks a double clothesline. Kaasa tags in and cleans house. He takes Cade over with a fallaway moonsault! With Cade indisposed, Nuclear Kaasatole take turns wearing down Solow. Kaasa impresses with a running shooting star press, but Cade is able to break up the nearfall. He also saves Solow from being pinned after a gutwrench drop/bulldog combo. Solow is able to forward roll Kaasa into a double stomp and tag out. Cade takes both guys out, then comes off the top with a missile dropkick to Brown. He dropkicks Kaasa to the floor and suicide dives after him. Cade then tope con hilo’s onto Brown on the opposite side of the ring. Brown misses a corner clothesline after kicking out of a pin. Solow muscles him up into an exploder suplex. Cade lands a frogsplash but Kaasa breaks up the pin just in time. He sends Solow into the ring post. Kaasa press slams Cade into an Ace Crusher from Brown. Kaasa lands a corkscrew lionsault for two. A series of knees and kicks leaves all four men laying. Cade and Solow bring Brown and Kaasa to the top rope. Brown knocks Solow off and lands a Swanton bomb. Kaasa knocks Cade down. He hits a 630 splash for the pin at 14:56.

This was all about to Nuclear Kaasarole making an impact in their debut. They delivered, dazzling the crowd with some fun offense and double team maneuvers. Flying Solow were a good act to pair them with as it played to both teams strengths. A more compact match in front of a hotter crowd would have made this a better overall package, but I think what we got was still very good given what was accomplished. **¾
