Kimber Bombs (Kimber Lee & Cherry Bomb) vs. Crusade For Change (Darius Carter & TJ Marconi) from Beyond Wrestling Tournament for Tomorrow 3:16

Post by Kevin Ford

Bomb gets the fans to chant “macaroni” at Marconi. Lee’s chop does nothing to Marconi, but his chop knocks her down. Bomb wants a test of strength with him. Even though she stomps on his foot, Marconi lifts her up in the air by one arm with ease. Carter kicks her arm and attacks her with knee lifts in the corner. She’s violently whipped across the ring. Bomb sends Marconi into the middle rope, then dropkicks his neck and skull into the turnbuckle for a one count. Lee and Carter trade chops in the corner. She kicks him in the leg to take over. The Kimber Bombs pull off a double suplex. Marconi comes in. The Bombs duck a double clothesline. They can’t take him over for a suplex, but Marconi is able to suplex them at the same time. Lee rolls to the floor and the Crusade bully Bomb in their corner. Bomb almost escapes when she ducks an enzuigiri from Cartner, but Marconi rushes in to knock Lee off the apron. Carter clotheslines Bomb in the neck and shoulders to keep the beatdown going. Bomb eventually ducks a running crossbody from Carter and tags out. Lee attacks Marconi with a boot and takes down Carter with a spinwheel kick for two. A strike exchange between Lee and Carter ends when Carter hits the inside of Lee’s leg when she goes for a spin kick. Marconi again knocks Bomb off the apron. Carter dropkicks Lee off of Marconi’s shoulders. Bomb breaks the cover and superkicks Marconi. Carter wants a piledriver. Bomb counters with a Death Valley Driver. Lee comes off the top with a Swanton Bomb. Marconi pulls Lee off to break the pin and throws Bomb to the floor. Marconi cracks Lee with a big boot. Lee fights out of the Emerald Frosion and German suplexes Marconi! Carter sneaks in for a piledriver. Lee sweeps out his legs and folds up Carter in the Alligator Clutch for the pin at 9:57!

The Kimber Bombs looked like tough, worthwhile competitors going up against the larger, meaner Crusade. It was an easy, well told story, and because of the work from both teams the fans were happy with the result. The Crusade tried to attack the Kimber Bombs post match, but the Garden State Gods make the save. Those two teams meet in the second round. **¾
