Recap from TJ Hawke:

Akuma and Dunn started the match.  Akuma locked in a Bow & Arrow.  Dunn was able to get to the ropes.  Silver and Brown tagged in.  Out of nowhere, Dunn hit Silver with a slingshot backstabber: 1…2…NO!  Silver came back, and Akuma then tagged himself in to take on Silver.  Wagner tagged in to work over Silver for a bit.  Silver came back with an enzuigiri.  Silver then ran wild on Wagner and Dunn.  This was wacky.  Akuma entered the ring and hit a snap release German suplex on Silver.  Akuma then hit a rolling DVD: 1…2…NO!  Akuma locked Silver into a Gory Special, but Silver escaped and hit a spinning neckbreaker variation.  Silver hit Dunn with an enzuigiri.  Wagner then hit Dunn & Silver with a Rough Ryder at the same time.  Wagner then Akuma with a half-nelson suplex.  Dunn and Silver sent Wagner and Akuma to the floor.  Dunn hit Silver with a Gibson Driver, but Akuma broke up the pinfall.  Silver wiped out Wagner with a tope suicida. Dunn then wiped out Wagner and Silver with a plancha.  Akuma called for a dive. Akuma went for the suicida, but Dunn met him with an enzuigiri.  Back in the ring, Dunn went for a headscissors takedown, but Akuma caught him with the Tenchi Crash: 1…2…3! That finisher is awesome.

I dug this match for the most part, but it didn’t seem especially ambitious.  Nobody seemed to be going through the motions or anything like that, but they just kept it basic (which is fine).  Despite all of these guys being regulars in the Northeast, this matchup feels like it’s about as random as it gets.  I enjoy randomness, but if randomness doesn’t tickle your fancy like it does mine, you probably would survive without ever seeing this match.

Match Rating: **1/2
