El Ligero vs. Martin Kirby vs. Kris Travis vs. Joey Hayes vs. CJ Banks vs. Bubblegum from PCW’s Festive Fury 2011

Recap from TJ Hawke:

After the entrances, there was only about fifteen minutes for the match. It’s a “Money in the Bank” match, but it’s not a ladder match. I assume the first pinfall/submission ends the match. Tag rules are apparently in play, which will probably be ignored later. Wrestling.

Everyone did a bunch of stuff. It was light and easy to watch, but nothing of particular note happened. The match quickly enough broke down and there were a lot of movez. Everyone but Travis ended up on the floor. He then hit a corkscrew drive on them all. Ligero then hit a moonsault onto everyone. Back in the ring, Ligero hit either Banks or Bubblegum with a reverse ‘rana for a nearfall. It was  Bubblegum. A lot more movez. Bubblegum hit Travis with an eye rake and a gutbuster, but Travis avoided a frogsplash and hit a double pumphandle vertical suplex driver: 1…2…3!

This was an enjoyable match, but it was hard to get emotionally invested in any of it. Nothing wrong with light and fluffy stuff though. The PCW environment pretty much makes everything enjoyable by default anyway.

Match Rating: ***1/4
