Recap from TJ Hawke:

My 2010 Evolve nostalgia is in FULL force. Brodie sent Mox to the floor early. Brodie then accidentally chopped a ringpost. They brawled on the floor for a bit. It was cool. Moxley started to choke him out on the floor, but Brodie fought out of it. They got back in the ring. Brodie hit a half-nelson suplex and a yakuza kick. Mox avoided the Liger Bomb and came back with some slaps. They did a double clothesline spot. Moxley and Brodie both went for chairs. The referee disqualified both of them.

This match reminds me why I was really drawn to the concept of Evolve, and why I seem to passionate in my displeasure for what the product became. I’m not one to get overly nostalgic and see wrestling’s past with rose colored glasses, but I truly believe Evolve had something unique to offer in wrestling.  Wrestling can use more unique.
