Tyler Black vs. Jimmy Jacobs from MCPW 2009

Post by TJ Hawke:

Tyler was challenging Jacobs for his MCPW Championship.

This was interesting because it was two “indie stars” working a much more traditional face/heel match than you would expect. Jacobs was the heel champ who was desperately cheating to keep the belt. He tried to walk out on the match, but Mick Foley showed up to bring him back to the ring. Jacobs then used a chain repeatedly to attack Tyler and even won the match by using the chain to choke out Tyler. Jacobs did the chain-in-the-armpit trick though, and the chain fell down when the ref raised his hand. Tyler then won the match and title decisively shortly after the match restarted. This was not especially entertaining, but it was well-executed for what they were doing. (**1/2)
