CM Punk vs. Justin Credible from WWE 2006

Recap from TJ Hawke:

This was Punk’s debut on the main roster. The Hammerstein Ballroom obviously knew who he was. Punk did some shit, but Credible then did a variation of the three amigos. Seven years later, Homicide would do the same thing at an ROH show, and I would scream “No!” in righteous anger. Credible briefly worked him over. Punk made a comeback. He hit some of his signature WWE spots. He eventually finished Credible with the Anaconda Vice.

This was an effective debut, but Punk was never going to get over just by doing some random midcard-feeling match. That’s just not the kind of performer that he is (was?).
