Hulk Hogan vs. Chris Jericho from WWE 2002

Recap from TJ Hawke:

This was Jericho’s first shot at the WWE Championship after dropping it to Triple H at Wrestlemania. It was a No Disqualification.

Hogan was mostly in control early on. Jericho had to use a low blow to get control. He worked Hogan over after that. Jericho hit the Lionsault just as Triple H came out. HHH was barred from touching Jericho, but Jericho freaked out anyway. HHH was doing the “too cool for school” facials. He ended up just joining the commentary team. Hogan made his comeback shortly after that. He eventually hit the big boot, but Jericho reversed the legdrop into the Walls. Hogan got to the ropes. Jericho hit Hogan with a chair. The Undertaker’s music played, but Undertaker never came out. HHH basically admitted he came up with the distraction. Hogan caught Jericho with a schoolboy: 1…2…3

This was classic WWE: everyone comes out of it looking unlikable and/or terrible at wrestling. Avoid.
