Less than a year after this match, Foley would have two PPV main events with HHH that solidified the latter as a bona fide main eventer who had a world of potential as the champion of the company (of course, HHH would largely, artistically fail in the role). You would have no idea HHH was capable of the matches he had a year later after watching this one. There was just a stiffness to his work that I find really unappealing. Foley was obviously a bit broken down by this point as well and mostly picked his spots. A completely forgettable match (that ended in a DQ no less) that no one needs to watch. (*1/2)
